In a city below sea level, a man haunted by addiction chooses to stay behind as a massive hurricane bears down. When the levees break and the floodwaters rise, his home is swallowed and so is everything he thought he had left.
With the city dark and drowning, and no one coming to help, he must push through the wreckage and his own demons to find the only thing that matters: his children.
